Caring for Your Luxbrilliant Jewelry
Caring for your Luxbrilliant pieces is simpler than you might imagine. Each piece of Luxbrilliant jewelry is handmade with love and intention, carrying not only beauty but also a touch of positive energy.
All of our designs are crafted from the finest materials and finished with an anti-tarnish coating. Every piece is nickel-free, ensuring comfort and quality. Our collections include 925 recycled sterling silver, 22kt gold-plated brass, and 22kt gold vermeil. Gold-plated jewelry is made by carefully layering a thin sheet of gold over base metals such as silver or copper, combining elegance with accessibility.
With every purchase, you will receive a complimentary cotton pouch to store your jewelry safely and elegantly.
We want you to always feel radiant when wearing your Luxbrilliant jewelry, and with proper care, your pieces will remain beautiful for years, retaining both their energy and brilliance. Follow the simple tips below to extend the life and vibrancy of your jewelry.
Care Tips
- Always remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercising, or doing household chores.
- Wipe down gold-plated pieces with a damp cloth after each wear to remove oils and smudges. For deeper cleaning, especially after contact with alcohol, acids, or sulfur, clean more thoroughly to prevent tarnishing.
- Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, hairspray, and cosmetics while wearing your jewelry.
- For cleaning, use mild soap, warm water, and a soft-bristled brush (like a toothbrush). Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid daily deep cleaning, as frequent scrubbing may cause the gold plating to wear off faster.
- Store jewelry in an airtight ziplock bag inside the cloth pouch provided. Keep pieces separated to prevent scratches and tangling.
Cleaning Your Jewelry
What you’ll need:
- Small bowl
- Jewelry cloth or soft cotton cloth
- Cotton ball and cotton swab
- Mild dishwashing liquid
- Warm water
Steps:
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cotton ball or jewelry cloth to remove body oils after each wear. Let the jewelry air-dry briefly before storing.
- Make a Solution: Mix 1 cup of warm water, 1 cup of cool water, and 1–2 drops of dishwashing liquid in a bowl.
- Soak: Place 1–2 pieces in the solution for about 5 minutes. Avoid soaking too many pieces together to prevent scratches.
- Detail Cleaning: Use a cotton swab to gently clean small crevices. Never use sharp tools.
- Rinse and Buff: Rinse in warm water, dry with a soft cloth, and buff lightly for a renewed shine.
For persistent stains, a tiny amount of plain white toothpaste with a soft brush can help restore luster—just rinse thoroughly afterward.
